Hey all! Happy holidays! I think it is important to be thankful all year around, but I am always reminded of how lucky and blessed I am during the holiday season. Thank you to all who continue to support me in my personal and musical lives. You are wonderful and appreciated.
Posted below is a cover of “Winter Song” by Ingrid Michaelson and Sara Bareilles that I did with fellow musician Daniel Park. Daniel is extremely kind and very talented, so check out some more of his music at http://www.danielparkmusic.com/.

Hey All! Hope everyone is loving this beautiful holiday season! I for one am thoroughly enjoying the drop off in temperature here in Austin. It finally feels like winter. I have been drinking a lot of tea and wearing a jacket that makes me look like a fur-lined tootsie roll! But on to the important stuff:
I recently had the opportunity to collaborate with SOCO jewelry designer and vintage shopLeighelena for a ’60s inspired photoshoot. Leighelena has gorgeous cuffs, and tons of funky retro clothing! They were so fun to work with!
Photographer Laura Spector and I traipsed around downtown Austin, (me in go-go boots, and she in regular shoes) and captured some awesome shots. Featured in some shots is fellow model/musician Maggie Leyenberger from the Austin band Holiday!

I’m starting a new endeavor and I am calling it fireplace (live). Why fireplace (live) you may be asking? Well, because I am going to be recording and filming original material in my home, in front of my fireplace. (real creative title, I know).
In an era where so many of our mainstream artists don’t write their own material and use artificial help to sing and perform, I feel that it is important to be able to showcase “the raw”. Which is the nickname I have bestowed on live, untouched performances; a true showcase of an artists’ ability.
So behold; the first installation of fireplace (live), an original song of mine called, “Run”.

This song was inspired by my poor choices in men during my first year of college. Every time I listen it reminds me of how much I’ve grown since then. I still love to play this song- it makes me laugh.

It is very humbling to move to a city all by yourself- with no friends or family by your side. Forcing you to get out there and make your way on your own. This is a strange new feeling- but I kinda like it.
